Onsides is the prediction exchange that shows the all-in cost of every trade, with price, fee and slippage itemized before you click. To the hundredth of a cent.
Priced live against the simulated order book for ONS-BTC-26DEC31-T100K. Simulated money only.
How pricing works
You pay what is on offer, level by level. If your size walks past the best price, the slippage is itemized before you send, not discovered after.
Taking liquidity costs 7% × contracts × price × (1 − price), rounded up to $0.0001. It peaks at 50¢ (1.75¢ a contract) and shrinks toward the edges. Resting orders that get taken pay no fee.
Every ticket adds it up for you: one all-in number. If the book can only fill part of your order, the ticket says how much, and what happens to the rest.
fee = 0.07 × C × P × (1 − P)Markets
Rates, inflation, growth. Priced on the release, settled on the print.
Price levels on fixed dates against a published reference rate.
Daily observations from the official station record.
Everything else that resolves on a public source.
Rules and settlement
Every market states its rule, its resolution source and its timeline before you trade. Nothing gets added after the fact.
Each YES and NO pair is backed by $1.00 in escrow from the moment it trades. Escrow equals open interest, always.
Every cent moves as a ledger posting, mirrored to an independent ledger and reconciled account by account.
A result is determined, held for review, then finalized. Payouts post when the window closes, not before.
